Greater San Diego Bangladesh Association (GSBA) was formed by some enthusiastic Bangladeshi people living in San Diego area to cater to the cultural and social needs of the Bengali community. The mission of GSBA extends beyond the cultural and social needs to also include humanitarian, economic, and educational causes. GSBA offers a common platform to organize, promote, and participate in the local, regional, national, and international events. Current GSBA membership extends to Mexico in the south and Los Angeles in the north.
 
This is an organization with deep conviction for cross cultural interaction, appreciation for literature, art and cultural heritage of Bangladesh.   The organization is open to any person or institution that believes in the Association’s objective as defined above and is willing to foster such objectives.
 
GSBA aims to accomplish its goals through the following activities and events throughout the year:
